I have a new ThinkPad E460, day old. One thing I noticed is that the power button has a small circle in the middle of it, however on pressing it, the small circle on the power button does not light up to a green light, like on the other ThinkPads.
So my question is, is this supposed to light up to a small green light or is the abscence of the small green light normal behaviour.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Broslowski that what was what I thought that how can the post manufacturing testing not pick this up.I also called Lenovo to ask about this. Their technician said he will order me a replacement part. So I am confused now !!
Is there a place where I can read a specification of this ThinkPad which gives me this level of detail?

It is always best to check reviews for this kind of info. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Lenovo-ThinkPad-E460-Core-i5-Radeon-R7-M360-Notebook-Review.154657.0.ht... for example here you can check if there is any light on pwb in real fotos.
Let us know please.
