I am having problems with a Lenovo ThinkPad E540 and the Synaptic Touchpad driver in Windows 10 64 Bit.
What is happening is the cursor is showing with a vertical scroll rather than just the standard windows arrorw and I am unable to remove it.
I have tried a number of different drivers 188.8.131.52, but this just auto updates to 184.108.40.206. I have also downloaded the recommended driver from the Lenovo Support website which is version, 220.127.116.11 and again it updates to 18.104.22.168.
I have managed to leave the laptop with just 22.214.171.124 installed and stop the 126.96.36.199 from downloading via windows update, but this only lasted a few weeks and I had the same issue.
I have also uninstalled Synaptic software and remove it from device manager, however after rebooting it installs again.
Can anyone help and supply solution to this annoying mouse issue?
