I have been getting a notification of a storage device failure from the Hardware Scan in the Lenovo Solution Center. It is for the 16GB M.2 SSD memory cache device and the failures are for the Random Seek Test, Funnel Seek Test, and SMART Short Self Test. It has been a while since I first received the notification of failure, but I have been out of warranty the entire time. Currently, I have not noticed any issues other than getting a bluescreen related to memory management 4 days ago. Rebooting seems to have fixed that bluescreen issue as I haven't had any other issues.
My questions are: 1) Is this failure of the memory cache ssd common? 2) If it is common, and will lead to more issues, can I replace it with a new memory card? 3) If I buy a replacement memory card, once I have it installed, do I just need to run the ExpressCache service again?
Thanks ahead of time for any help y'all can provide!
