Hello all, just wanted to report that I experience similar issues with my E595 with all updated drivers. It's quite easy to reproduce by typing series of "ty" letters, which eventually lead to "yt" being typed. I spend most of my day typing on a desktop computer and this almost never happens on it, so I'm pretty sure it comes from the laptop.
I also experience a very subtle, but constant, micro delay after every keystroke, giving an overall impression of unresponsiveness to the keyboard (although the physical keyboard is a real pleasure to type on !)

E495 and E595 have the same BIOS, so both will be fixed.
Please be patient as it may take some time, it is supposed to be posted on lenovo support before end of Oct. I will share link with you once we complete it. Thanks for your understanding!

Please do! This issue is just about the only thing putting me off getting an E495, after looking into the laptop market quite thoroughly. I've been very jealous of the performance of my brother's 2700u IdeaPad, and I've had no shortage of issues with my Inspiron 2-in-1 that's presently trying to kick the bucket.

Any update on that matter? I recently bought an e495 and it's unusable for me because of this fault. I have to decide whether to return it or wait for the BIOS update and see if that fixes the issues. Thank you

Hello! Last week a received from Aliexpress a Spanish keyboard -no backlight-.My machine came with US keyboard no backling also.. After changing to the spanish keyboard the problem is gone. So i think that this problem is related with different Keyboard vendors.
