First of all sorry for the bad english. It is not my native language.
I upgraded my E550 to the new aniversery update from windows 10.
And since a couple of days my computer freezes when I'm unplugging my charger
I have to press the power down button to restart it and to get it to work again.
When I restart my Laptop the battery is not charging when I my charger is plugged in.
Also when I do that it sometimes creates a BSOD with a message DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
And when all this is over it works fine again.
I tried searching for driver updates but I don't find a new version of the charger driver
And I didn't came across other people with the same issue.
I also don't see the point in upgrading the BIOS since my laptop (like most) starts in UEFI

Maybe this one will help instead.
Now that message you have, from what I read, is an incompatible driver problem. You need to update the driver. That should fix your problem for the BSOD. I don't know if this will fix your charger problem tho. Should try updating the driver first before you go through the link to try and fix you problem.

I tried updating the drivers of the battery in windows but that doesn't seem to help.
Can I download the driver from the lenovo site instead?
If so wich one because I can't seem to find the correct driver

Alright I have an update.
It still freezes when I unplug my charger but it only happens when it is charged over 95%
If my battery level is under 95% I can plug it in and plug it out however I see fit.
Is it possible that the battery level is misconfigured? Or am I looking to far for a solution?
