Hi, when i powered my thinkpad e570 or wake it up delete key (the one on the backspace) gets automatically pressed forever until I press another key on the keyboard. Then it stops working and doesn't work even i press it several times. so i can't use it. But occasionally it automatically keeps pressing itself even if I don't press the delete key even once. And also sometimes when I press the delete key once, it automatically keeps deleting forever until I press another key on the keyboard. I tried an external USB keyboard and there is no problem with it. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Every time i power up/turn on my thinkpad e570 or wake it up delete key gets automatically pressed forever until I press another key on the keyboard. every time without exception... After pressing another key it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. what does it mean?

Welcome to the Community.
If you have the same issue on the CMD and your external keyboard does ok, it appears to be likely a hardware issue like a stucked key. It may be better if you call in technical support to have an in-warranty repair done for you.
I hope this helps answer your query.
Update us how it goes best for you.

thank you, i don't think it is a stucked key problem. because delete key sometimes works and deletes everything forever, sometimes doesn't work even i press it many times. but every time i turn on or wake up the laptop delete key automatically get pressed until i press another key. very strange!
by the way how can i eject/rip/disassamble the delete key from the keyboard to clean it?
and if i eject/rip/disassamble the keyboard, will be a problem with warranty?
tnahks in advance

It would be better to call technical support for the repair.
They would most likely replace the entire keyboard so even if not a single stucked key issue then most likely the keyboard circuit board would be replaced.
Do not attempt any other repair if you have warranty.
Just allow in-warranty repair fix this for you.
