I was wandering about replacing my current cpu with something more powerful. I-3110m is ok but, i'm doing some work in Matlab and Solidworks, and sometimes my cpu chokes. The only thing that stops me from buying new cpu is heating of new cpu. i3-3110m is 35W TDP, so as i7-3612/32QM but they are incredibly hard to find in good prices. on the other hand there is i7-3610Qm which is easily found but runs on 45W TDP. Question is: How much hotter can my laptop get? Maybe someone has E430 with i7-3610qm?
