Thinkpad Edge E430: Mouse Pad & Track Pad Dead On Arrival

Hi

 

I had ordered a Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E430. First, delivery was delayed by 1 week later when I checked the machine, mouse pad and track pad were not working.

 

I tried reinstalling drivers, checked BIOS settings. There was no mention of Mouse & TrackPad in Control Panel.

 

Atlast, I raised a case with Lenovo customer care. 

 

It has been almost 2 weeks, nothing is moving. Any time I call, same response they arr investigating the root cause.

 

I am fed up with this service. I would suggest to others please think twice before falling into Lenovo trap.

I have the same problem? operating system Windovs 7, After installation Thinkpad Edge E430: Mouse Pad & Track Pad Over it did not work.
BIOS is the new 1.18V.
Download NEW driver.
Please Help.

Anytime you recieve a Lenovo product that does not work when you pull it out of the box you should always contact Lenovo and let them know and replace it.

Letting Lenovo know helps minimize the chances of it happening again.
