Thinkpad Edge E430 USB 3.0 behave as USB 2.0 on Windows 8

I've just upgrade my e430 to Windows 8 and realize, that two USB 3.0 not working with USB 3.0 device (like flash disk or external hard drive). Device is recognized but not shown as drive, so I've no access to them.

I've read some articles, that Win 8 should have native support for USB 3.0 so am I missing something?

And should this be somehow connected with my internal card reader not working? I can see, that Lenovo yet not release drivers for it, but... Thanks for answers.

I had the same issue until update the BIOS to 2.07. The bootable .iso file worked for me, not the .exe file. So you need to burn a CD to update, perhaps. The previous BIOS update did not work, but this time it DID! Good luck!

Last  bios update works also for me, so problem is no longer presented.
