Just got my Thinkpad Edge E535 a few days ago and installed Windows 7 x64 on it.
I manually downloaded all nescessary drivers but the video card wouldnt work correclty.
Then I downloaded the Lenovo Vantage Help System hoping it would locate the fitting driver but the program didnt find a driver nor the graphics card.
In the Lenovo Center it says:
|Video card chip type||VideoCardChipType|
|Card memory||0,00 MB|
|Provider||(Standard display types)|
I have no clue what to do anymore and really don't want to return the laptop.
Thanks in advance!

I got the same problem, but found no solution. I tried it with different drivers (even those for Win8), but it didn't work.
If I won't find a solution for that, I will also return that laptop as because of that I can't adjust the brightness. Because of that the battery is empty after only 1:40 or something.

Yeah, pretty unfortunate, will send mine back on monday. Don't know if it's just with this one or if the graphics card is ONLY win8 compatible or really so bad that it doenst even support Windows Aero.

Yes absolutely, after installing everything manually from the lenovo support site, I scrambled through google to find a different driver for the graphics card and after that didnt help I put up the ThinkVantage system that also couldnt help...
Then I came here... So Im guessing Ill send it back on monday, too bad... Getting a samsung now...

look at this one, this might fit for our Operating systems. I'm just downloading it right now and I'll tell you if it works.
/add note: still doesn't work for me
Which Samsung do you want to buy?
