Three screen support

I recently started using a Thinkpad Edge E520. I have a monitor connected via vga and a second monitor connected via hdmi. When I go to my graphics properties, the computer can see the mobile display and both monitors as potential screens. I can make an extended desktop using any two of these screeens, but not using all three. Is this possible? I would like my laptop display and both monitors to make up one three-screen extended desktop.

Re: Three screen support

I think you're limited to 2 monitors at any time on the E520. The T-series with discrete can drive up to 4 with NVidia Optimus.

Re: Three screen support

Any idea what the primary issue there is? Is it just a driver/software issue or is there some limiting factor of the hardware?

Re: Three screen support

It's a limiting factor of the hardware. Gotta pay more for certain features. Just like every other industry out there.
