One other thing you can try is removing the wireless adapter in Windows device manager and then rebooting. Windows will find the adapter and reinstall it after the reboot. This has fixed similar issues for me before. Good luck!

In Device Manager under the Driver tab, you can "Disable" or "Remove" your wireless adapter. If you have tried "Disable" already I recommend you now try "Remove". This will force Windows to find the adapter on reboot and install the drivers again. This fixed a similar issue I was having with my T61 some time ago. Sweet dreams!

Sorry for the confusion! I meant "Uninstall". In the properties window for your wireless adapter in Device Manager find the Driver tab and click Uninstall. This will make Windows remove the wireless adapter like it was never there. Now when you reboot, Windows will find the adapter and re-install all the drivers again. Give it a try before yo do something more drastic!
