I would like to refresh or reinstal Windows 8.1 OEM on my Lenovo Edge E330 laptop, but I didn't get the recovery DVD or USB when I bought it.
At the bottom side of my laptop I can see the Windows 8 sticker, but there is no serial number or so and I don't think the serial number would be anywhere else.
Can you please tell me what are the steps to refresh or reinstal Windows on my computer?

thanks for help. There are some partition with recovery on my drive, so it should be possible.
I have another question. For recovery I need 16GB flash. With this capacity(16GB is usually something like 14GB so I need 32GB one) I have just SD card. I guess i can't copy recovery files on SD card which would be readed through built in SDcard reader but, could I use this SD card in my camera (Samsung WB700) connected through USB cable as storage? Do you think it would be safe?

Thank you for the reply!
As per the documentation 16Gb is enough, but in safer side you can use 32Gb. We won’t recommend creating the recovery media on SD card, I request you to use the USB flash drive only. Make sure you have not done any changes in the HDD partition.
Hope this helps.

I bought 32GB Flash and I have done the System refresh procedure. It seems problems are still there, so I am thinking about complete reinstall as you wrote.
Before I will do that, I want to ask if there is no known solution for my problems (not sure if I should ask in a different thread).
The problem is that my disk activity is most of the time on 100% without any reason and the average response time is in seconds. Sometimes even over 10 seconds.
I have tried programs like HDtune to check for S.M.A.R.T and everything is OK. I also tried check for bad sectors and again, disk seems to be ok. During the test disk was reading over 100MB/s, so there is no problem with speed.
I tried to check for viruses even in MBR, but nothing is there. I also tried to count by programs used RAM (working set) in resource monitor and I have got 2GB in total, but the total usage shown in the resource monitor is 2,7GB.
Sometimes I have had feeling that there is a problem with trackpoint scrolling and process virtscrl, but I am not sure about that.

In this case I want you to check with uninstalling the Antivirus application and remove all the unwanted application from Control panel – Program and feature option.
Check if the issue persists in safe mode option also.
Perform clean boot option.
Hope this helps.

Since I did a system refresh, my old antivirus (Avast free) was deleted and after that there were Lenovo preinstalled Norton antivirus, so I think antivirus should not be the problem. All unwanted programs has been also uninstalled, but problem was still there.
I also tried safe mode, but in taskmanager there was no possibility to see disk activity. Clean boot did not make a change to performance too.
So I did complete system reinstallation and now it seems to be much better.
I will do step by step installation of software I need and will see if something will cause the problem again.
Thanks for your help and I will inform you, is I find the problem.
