i brought a new lenovo edge 430 and in the internet i hear a lot of tips and guides about the li-ion battery usage like you should not use it while charging and bla bla bla.
i am a regular user of laptop everyday and i have the following doubts
1. i am always near a power source, should i remove the battery and connect directly to ac ?
right now when the charge is 100% i unplug it and use it with battery and then recharge it again when it comes around 30%. is it a good practise and the room temperatue i stay is always below 30 degree.
2. i have installed lenovo small business solution tools, can i set after hours operation functionality in it and plug the power source and leave it charge overnight ? will it affect battery life ?
3. can i install all other think vantage tools as well ? i have 6 gb ram so no problem of speed .
i am most confused about battery issue. please guide me thanks !

You can install Lenovo Solutions Center (replaces ThinkVantage Technologies) here:
Then you can adjust all of the battery settings in Power Manager, including ways to increase battery longetivity.
You can charge it overnight and set an upper limit and it will stop charging. (You can set it to stop charging at a certain percentage, for example, 80%)
Hope this helps.

As you said i installed the power manager and switched the battery maintenance to optimize for battery lifespan.
Please give me tips for all day computing ?
Like whether i should be using with battery all day or with a power source ?

I would remove the battery if you're using your 430 for all day computing. Every battery has a finite number of charging cycles it can go through, so the less you use it the longer it should last. Removing it eliminates two main reasons of shortened battery life--heat and overcharging.
Be sure to power off before removing the battery.
