I installed ubuntu in my e130 but the wifi didn't work. After spending a couple of hours unsuccefully i decided to buy a new wifi card which is properly supported by Linux. I chose the Intel 2230 wich is also mentioned on the Lenovo support site as supported by the e130. Unfortunately my e130 won't start at all with this card. It is saying that i have an unsupported network card installed and have to plug it off right after pressing the power button.
I read some other post where they succesfully run the laptop with this card.
These information are written on the card: Intel centrino wireles-n 2230 Model: 2230bnhmw
