how can i recover the q partition on my thinkpad edge

i made my recovery media cds but it never asked me if i want to restore the space used by the backup...i can see that it is still taking up space on my hard drive but when i open the partition its empty O_o.....and i cant just delete the partition

 

please help because thats 9 gigs of space id like back

hey adarwish93,

when you launch Rescue & Recovery, under the "delete a backup" section; was there anything listed ?

If there is, there will be a delete button for you to delete the old backups.

you can use disc management to add the space back to C: partition
