intel wifi technology

Hi all

My Edge E520 keeps coming up with the message that intel wifi technology is disabled

it also fails to automatically connect to wifi any more

are these two things related?

how do I enable intel wifi technology again - and what does it do?

I have 13 days left on my standard warranty - is this covered?

Re: intel wifi technology

This may solve your problem:

Description:
If Intel® My WiFi Technology (Intel® MWT) is disabled and user receives message "Intel My WiFi Technology is disabled", Intel® Wireless Display Technology may not function properly.

Solution:
Intel® My WiFi Technology allows the laptop to become a Wi-Fi access point for other laptops. If the laptop screen reads "Intel My WiFi Technology is disabled":

  1. Click on the "Scan for available adapters" button to automatically enable Intel® My WiFi Technology.

  2. If the Wi-Fi is already on, Intel® Wireless Display will automatically enable Intel® My WiFi Technology. If the Wi-Fi is off, the application asks if you would like to turn on Intel® My WiFi Technology. Select "Yes" and scan again.

Operating System:

Windows 7 *
