We have recently purchased a few thinkpad edge laptops. We planned on getting one laptop setup and confgiured and taking a Ghost of the disk to clone to the rest of the machines. However the laptop hangs at the thinkpad bios screen. I saw for some older thinkpads that a special option when making the image would fix the issue. Also we noticed that the laptop had a weird 1.5gb partition before the windows one. Has anybody gotten this to work before? Or does anyone have a tool that they have used successfully.
Note: We had an image of a pervious batch of thinkpad edges that would ghost fine. (Although the image doesn't work on this newer batch.)

I haven't used Ghost in years and confess I've never imaged an Edge system, but what you are looking for may have been discussed in this thread. Please take a look and let us know if it helps or not.
