Re: Keyboard Arrow Keys no longer working - Thinkpad E325

I have the Thinkpad E325 and typically one month after my warranty expires (which I forgo to upgrade) my arrow keys stop working. They don't scroll through text, pages, browsers etc.

I have switched on and off ScrollLock using Fn+C and that doesn't fix the problem.

Compared to the other keys they feel a little looser/not as springy but it is weird that they all stopped working at the same time rather than just one or two.

And the Page Up/Page Down buttons still work fine and they are right alongside.

Any ideas on the problem? And ideally a solution.

Thanks,
Cole

Re: Keyboard Arrow Keys no longer working - Thinkpad E325

Hi, fourjandals

What operating system are you running? Also, let's confirm to see if your computer is recognizing the input of the keys on a hardware level. When you first turn on your computer, hit Enter at the screen that says Lenovo. This should bring up a menu. Hit F1 to go into the BIOS. Are you arrow keys functioning here at all? Once the test is complete, hit Esc to exit the BIOS and your machine should boot normally.

Best of luck; let me know how it goes

Adam
