Hello Lenovo Administrators,

My Name is John and I have plans of purchaseing a Lenovo R Series soon because I'm a big fan of Ibm, Lenovo and ThinkVantage. First of I would like to ask is the downgrade cd for XP not available for the R Series? I noticed it was on there for about a day and then went away. Here is the laptop I plan on buying.

Now I've seen a Japanese/Amercian key board for a few laptops and wondered if there is one for the R61 and is there a way to change the order to have it installed in place of a American one? Another question I've wondered is what is the Smart Card for that comes with the Quadro card? I tried to do some reasearch on it but failed to find anything. I wanted to know, can I install ram into the system without voiding the warranty or should I send it for upgrade? Also I notcied when checking out that the paypal button keeps redirecting me to the front cart page. Can anyone tell me why that is?. Also Thanks a lot for any support, I'll consider this when ordering from you guys again.

I bought an R61i with WinXP at Buy.com a month ago. I found it by googling "notebooks winxp". I got lots of hits. Buy.com had the best deal at the time.
