Fn+f5 won't turn on wifi

2013-08-20, 3:27 AM

I did a clean install of windows 7 on an L512 I bought with no operating system on it. I installed various drivers but so far I cannot get the wifi to turn on with the function switch as it should. This seems to not be an uncommon problem and it seems to be about the drivers but I can't figure out what driver could be missing...

You probably have to install the "Hotkey features integration" package.

From here.

After installing windows 7 you need Hotkey Features driver on your laptop, but if that is still installed, try reinstalling the WiFi driver software.
