Install program won't recognize any hard disks

2008-05-23, 9:27 AM
Hi,

I'm installing XP to my R60 but everytime I get that error and the install stops.
Linux is uninstalled from the machine recently and now I wonder if somethin necessary
has been deleted during that operation. Any ideas ?  Thanks.

iivolainen, welcome to the forum,

go into BIOS, (F1 at boot), and in the Config > SATA menu change the mode to Compatability.
