L512 Sleep issues

2012-01-15, 2:58 AM

Hello, when I try to put my laptop to sleep recently, the screen will go black but it still runs. I have to press and hold the power button and reboot to get back on. 4444CTO

hey AGP,

uninstall the power manager and then put it to sleep. does it still happen ?

anyway, try this ... start your unit, let it load into windows and do not launch anything.

put your unit to sleep and if the problem does not happen, it means that what ever program you use just before putting it to sleep is causing the issue.

but if the problem happens even after you place it to sleep right after windows loads, then it could be a background process.
