L520 and virtualization

2015-04-24, 20:07 PM

Hi
I am having a problem with my L520 laptop. Recently I started working with Android technology and I need to use the Device Emulator for testing. That was not working for me and by searching I found out that my laptop does not support virtualization. If my understanding is correct this means that I cannot run virtual machines of any kind. Can you please let me know if my understanding is correct (no virtualization supported) and if so whether upgrading the CPU would fix the thing?

Thank you.
