Thinkpad L430 Touchpad & Touchpoint not working and Ultranav checkboxes to them are greyed out

Hi I use a USB mouse with my laptop so not sure when trackpad/point stopped working- I first became aware of the issue a couple of weeks ago. I have since reset my machine (Windows 10) twice to see if that fixes it and also downloaded drivers from this site but to no avail. Can anyone offer assistance? Thanks in advance Huw

How about the status of machine BIOS setting, could you please check the Config->Keyboard/Mouse in BIOS setting, if the Trackpoint status is disable, I think that right behavior with your attached screenshot shows.

If not, can you try below steps:

you can make "TrackPoint" status is disable, and enter system,

then go to BIOS->Config->Keyboard/Mouse->TrackPoint, to change the status to "Enable",

and you could try whether it will work or not, thanks.

Power on machine, when pops up Lenovo logo, please press F1 to go to BIOS setting. Thanks.

thanks. ok, I went into BIOS and changed both options available to 'enabled' - see screenshot,

 

However, still cannot use touchpad/point..

How about your UltraNAV driver in Device management, we should point this issue is software or Hardware issue, thanks. You can according attached to check UltraNAV driver status.

I suspect your UltraNav (touchpad+red hat) hardware is demaged, due to driver does not recognize the UltraNAV hardware, so UltrNAV driver is not insatlled, you could contact to physical store for the Hardware repaired, thanks.
