Wireless will connect through air card, but not without it.

2010-09-10, 2:46 AM

I recently had dsl installed in my house with wireless router. I had been using a Verizon wireless broadband air card. I tried logging on without the air card but it wouldn't work. It kept trying to connect but wouldn't. I unplugged the air card from the USB, but did not uninstall VZ Access Manager that works with it. I wonder if the VZ Access manager is overriding the computer's internal WiFi somehow. Not sure what to do other than unintall the VZ Access Manager program, but would rather find out if that's actually the problem before doing so because right now it's the only way for me to get connected. I have an Intel(R) PRO/Wireless LAN 21003B mini PCI adapter. Troubleshooter says it's working ok and is enabled.
