Alt + F4 does not work at all

I have had different Windows laptops tens of years and this is the first laptop where function keys are not working.

Most often I use alt + f4 when I want to leave and close what ever program.

Now when I press alt + f4, program does not close. Only some microfone comes on the screen.

For what purpose it is.

Why function keys have been destroyed in this Lenovo L560 Win 7.

Re: Alt + F4 does not work at all

Have you tried Ctrl+Alt+F4 or Fn+Alt+F4?

Re: Alt + F4 does not work at all

Fn + Alt + F4 works, thanks!

But Alt + F4 should be easier because I'll use it in my other two laptops, HP Probook and Dell.

Is it possible to make short code that Alt + F4 works also in this Lenovo.

BIOS ->Config->keyboard/Mouse->Change to "F1-F12 keys" , switch from "Default" from "legacy", let me know if it works.

Re: Alt + F4 does not work at all

25 years I was easy closing application by alt+f4 and today when I started with new lenovo yoga laptop and wanted to close an app I feel like someone made me a dirty joke. Really, I need to use two hands to close app using keys? ComeON!!!!!!!!!!

(btw. also the touchpad doesn't have real border between left and rigth button and there is no "middle" butto, is there any option to make the "middle button?)

Re: Alt + F4 does not work at all

Oulu and boru,I am sorry for your inconvenience.

I tried on my X1 carbon,  if I disable FnLock by pressing Fn+Esc (Fnlock indicator is OFF), Alt + F4 works as before.
