I habe an R60 with 80GB HDD. It has a Recovery of WinXP Prof partition on it.
How can I replace this disk with a bigger one without losing my XP Prof recovery and the Lenovo Software ?
Can I solve this with an image of the old hard disk ?
Whar Software would I need for that ?
Thank you for reading this and any held is very much appreciated

first make a set of recovery media from start, program, thinkvantage, create recovery media. After you done that, then do a backup of your system using rescue and recovery softwares and then burn the backup onto dvds or store it on an external hdd.
Now install the new hdd, then restore the recovery partition and the OS using the 3 recovery media discs that you created, insert the startup discs disc 1, and then follow the prompt. After you have installed the fresh copy of the OS with the drivers, then you can reload your backup from the rescue and recovery backups that you either burnt to dvds or stored in external hdd.

Thanks a billion for your help.
I tried it and it worked.
Funny though that from the 3 recovery media I created I needed only one (the boot DVD).
Anyway - happy and with loads of free HDD space.
