Companion offers Inte ME Firmware update but installation fails

Hi!

Lenovo companion offers me to update Intel ME Firmware to V 11.8.50.3399 but everytime I try to install the installations fails with out further details about what failed.

Is there any solution or can I download the ME Firmware for the L470 somewhere else?

Hi Iroxter,

The updater package needs correcting which is work in progress, hopefully this will be fixed within the next week.  In the meantime you can install it manually after downloading it from;

I've been informed that the package for Companion has been fixed and it should now seelessly provide and install the update.  Perhaps someone would like to confirm this?
