I bought a second hand laptop L440
Machine Type Model: 20ASS1FQ00
When I read the manual http://www.lenovo.com/shop/americas/content/user_guides/l440_l540_ug_en.pdf it says:
GPS and wireless features:
Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite receiver (on some models)
Bluetooth (on some models)
Wireless LAN (on some models)
Wireless WAN (on some models)
I have made a clean install with a win7 disc. So the system backup partition is gone.
Do I have to install the driver separately?
Do I have to install any driver so the Fn-keys works correctly?
Are there a driver-suit that have all the driver that one need or do I have to download them one by one and install?
Solved! Go to Solution.

It should have an Intel M.2 wireless WAN card, or perhaps one from Realtek, that provides both WiFi and Bluetooth, but you may not have installed the drivers needed for it to work yet. I also believe that on some models they used the wireless card slot to install a Solid State Drive instead, so if you do not have a SSD and have WiFi, you probably have Bluetooth as well..
Note: Entering the serial number from the laptop. or letting the site below detect it, will help show you what options it came with too.
Go here, and select the version of Windows 7 you installed (32-bit or 64-bit) and download the Bluetooth driver.
You will also find other drivers you may need there too.
BTW Go to Start/Run and type in devmgmt.msc and you might see Bluetooth listed either under its own heading, or under Network Adapters, but with a yellow ! in front of it indicating a missing or bad driver.

The original config of your machine had it:
L440 Laptop (ThinkPad) 20ASS1FQ00 i5-4300M(2.6GHz),4GB RAM,500GB 5400rpm HD,14in 1366x768 LCD,Intel HD Graphics,CDRW/DVDRW,Intel 802.11ac abgn wireless,WWAN Upgradable,Bluetooth,1Gb Ethernet,UltraNav,Secure Chip,Camera,6c Li-Ion,Win8 Pro 64
Actually Windows update should have picked up the right driver. You can also try installing and running Lenovo System Update and see if it picks the BT drivers (download the software from here: click me!)
