I am used to get a fan error on my lenovo once it opens and then shutdown emediately. I changed to another fan and got the same error although the other fan was refurbished and I doubt it has the same problem but am not sure
Today suddenly the laptop opened and entered normally and I went to the thinkVintage diagnostic tool and I finished testing all the items.
I get on the fan diagnosis results the following error:
Fan Test - Failed, with error code ax=0x5c26 (0x0000)
I couldn't find any information about that error code and want to know what does it mean or refer to.
Is it a problem of heat paste on processor or problem in the fan it self?...
The fan has three wire-cable connected to the motherboard, normally the fans that I saw before they have only 2 (-ve and +ve) for the electricity, if somebody can't help atleast tell me whats the third wire refers to and what does it do?.. does the fan have internal sensors or something that might be damaged?..
Can this problem be from the main motherboard actually or this is highly not possible?
