Hi, I just checked "dxdiag' and on the display tab AGP acceleration its disabled (Says not available) I wasn't aware of this because I mainly use Ubuntu, I have all the latest Intel drivers (chipset/video) I don't know if its a common thing on the R60 but my previous laptop also have a GMA Intel videocard and AGP was enabled, maybe its a Bios settings, I can't find anything.
Hi. Indeed this is a common problem (atleast with XP). I recently formatted-reinstalled XP and AGP was disabled (it was enabled in the earlier installation). I googled a lot and tried "Installing the drivers in the correct order : Chipset >> Graphics >> Update DirectX " but all in vain.
But presently I've Windows 7 installed and AGP was enabled by default. So my guess is that it should be the same with Vista. Maybe some problem with XP and its drivers. So try Vista or Win7 if u can spare some time
