L390 Yoga pressure sensetivitys

I May want to buy a L390 yoga

But I find no Details about how much pressure sensetivitys the integrated pen has

And if its compatible with the active pen 2 because I want to have 4096 pressure sensetivitys instead of the Thinkpad pen pro with only 2048

Fundamental question:is the l390 Y even capable of recognizing 4096 pressure sensetivitys

Thanks in advance

Re: L390 Yoga pressure sensetivitys

Hi Chrigra03!

Welcome to the Community Forums!

After checking, Active pen 2 is not compatible with the Yoga L390. The only pen compatible with the L390 is the Lenovo Thinkpad pen pro which can only support up to 2048 pressure sensitivity. You can refer to this link for more information:https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/l390_l390yoga_hmm_en.pdf (Page 50).
Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards.

Re: L390 Yoga pressure sensetivitys

I am a different person, but I need more information about this topic.
When I visit the US Lenovo shop, I go to the accessories finder and it lists an additional pen:
"ThinkPad Pen Pro for L380 Yoga" (yes, both for the L380 and L390 Yoga!).
This suggested pen has 4096 levels of sensitivity! Are you 100% sure this L390 ships with an incompatible pen?! Please help!
I need to buy a laptop very very fast!

Re: L390 Yoga pressure sensetivitys

Hello again, this is another official Lenovo Website:
https://accessorysmartfind.lenovo.com/#/products/4X80R07945
This is about the "ThinkPad Pen Pro for L380 Yoga" pen! Specs listed are 4096 levels! And this page says: officially compatible to both L390 Yoga and L380 Yoga!
This is a contradiction! Now I do not know if I can buy this laptop!
Please help me!

Re: L390 Yoga pressure sensetivitys

I also downloaded a huge Excel file from Lenovo (official), it calls itself:
"Worldwide Option Compatibility Matrix (OCM) - July, 2019"
This excel file lists this pen as compatible: "4X80R07945" - which should be the above linked Thinkpad Pen Pro for L380 Yoga. Both for the L380 and L390 Yoga!
I found three official Lenovo resources which contradict the answer of "Jack_Lenovo1", who claimed that only one pen is compatible: The one he mentioned at 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity.
I am convinced that the pen 4X80R07945 is compatible, too! Because I found three official sources!
But does it mean 4096 levels of sensitivity are supported for the Yoga L390?
Or does ""Jack_Lenovo1""'s answer mean, that even with the better Pen, only 2048 levels are supported?
Do all Yoga L390 ship with at least one of the Thinkpad Pen Pros? If not, how do I find out if I need to order the pen?

I need to buy a laptop! Please help!
