My Thinkpad L440 has a problem of heat. When I use my CPU at 100%, it heats up to over 100 ° C and its frequency drops. So I can't fully use my CPU. I checked: the air vents are clean.
Am I the only one with this problem ? Is there any solution ?
Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum!
That's not normal, if you have warranty (it's a new laptop so I guess you will) I would check with the local/closest support center.
Out of curiosity, which programs are you running when the L440 get to 100°C?

@schmidtj: What processor do you have ? I have an Intel Core i5 4200M. If you have an ultrabook processor, it can make a big difference.
@Tasurinchi: I frequently run big source code compilations, that use all the CPU cores at 100%. But even with programms that consume less CPU, I encounter the same problem. My ThinkPad has currently another problem so yeah, it is going to a support center.
Quite sad to see that my first ThinkPad is not as good as I hoped...
