I was able to install it

download the windows upgrade assistant, when it download the 1803 version enable airplane mode and install it

after that, reboot the laptop and enable normal mode again and run the windows update

I had the same error on two L570's. It appears the error message is actually correct. The hardware is not supported.

It's if the machine has an Intel SSD 600p or Intel SSD Pro 6000p, sometimes identified in the Hardware manager as a SSDPEKKF256G7L or similar.

Master_Len wrote this on another post in this forum:

The upgrade is blocked for a reason. As I said before some Intel SSD disks are having some major issues with the new Windows 1803 upgrade. Maybe you better read the thread I started on the Intel forums, especially the reply by Eugenio F.:

'Just as explained in the Microsoft* article you shared, Microsoft has temporarily paused the Windows 10* April 2018 Update (also known as RS4) on select devices with Intel® SSD 600p Series and Intel® SSD Pro 6000p Series due to issues that may cause a system to crash and enter a UEFI screen after reboot. Microsoft is working on a resolution that will allow the April 2018 Update on these devices in the near future.'
