R 61 TouchPad

Does anyone know how to temporarly disable touchpad in ThinkPAD R61??? I often use external mouse and it would help me a lot. Best regards jarek

Hi yareckey, welcome to the forum,
 
you can turn it off using Fn F8 and select only the trackpoint.
Another not so temporary method is to turn it of in BIOS, you will however have to shut down and re-start to turn it back on again.
