R32 HD Upgrade

2009-09-24, 18:08 PM

I am trying to upgrade my hard drive from the 20GB that came with it to a 80GB drive.  My machine doesn't have a floppy and the CD is read-only.  Can I create a recovery "disk" on a flash drive and boot to it to, after installing the bare drive?

Mark, welcome to the forum,

sorry, but I don't believe that work :smileysad:

your two safest routes would be to clone your hard drive or get a cd/dvd burner and create recovery discs, the drive can be an external drive which would probably be cheaper than an UltraBay drive.
