R60 External sound connection

Is it possible to connect external sound to LENOVO R60 and how?

for normal 2.1 channel sound use the headphone port. if you need surround sound, then get the USB Sound card with the surround sound output.

I had R60e , there was no sound in the speaker but when I plug in the headset the sound output is good, is there any advise about this...

try boot into the Rescue and Recovery console, during the initial laptop startup by pressing the blue thinkvantage button, then select hardware diagnostic. There should be a test for speakers.
