I had purchased 2 R61i laptops for family use - running XP Pro. Upon doing all of the Windows and Lenovo updates, I find that Windows Movie Maker encounters a problem and needs to close the app (error message on both laptops). A Lenovo service rep says that I need to do a complete system reinstall. They just sent me disks yesterday. When I Googled for the error, I see references to conflicts with WinDVD and also IE. Any thoughts or suggestions before I start the reinstall?
