I have a L540 (20AV006TGE) and it currently has 8GB RAM - I know that it can be upgraded to 16GB of RAM.
As far as I found out (because the Notebook is on a remote site) it should have 8GB of SO-DIMM 1600 PC3L-12800 Module.
From an FRU List in the Forum I found that for this Notebook it should be following
FRU 03X6657 1 8GB DDR3L 1600 SODIMM
My Question is, if I can use any DDR3 SODIMM with 1600Mhz to add to the existing module or would there be compatibility issues.
Can I for example use this RAM ?
Thanks for your answers
