Ricoh SD Card Reader does not appear to work

2012-01-21, 23:55 PM
When I insert a valid SD card, containing valid images (jpegs & NEFs) into the card reader on my SL500, the card is not read. There is no activity from the computer at all. Device Manager does not show any card reader. Disk Management does not show anyhting significant. Lenovo ThinkPad Toolbox does not list any card reader. I have downloaded and installed the latest Ricoh card reader drivers. What services need to be running to make the card reader work?

No services should need to be enabled for it...

The card reader should show up under IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.

Is it disabled in the BIOS under Security > I/O Port Access?
