I recently bought Buffalo Nfiniti WZR-HP-G300NH Wireless-N HighPower Wireless router. It should support speeds up to 300Mbps. I have enabled 40Mhz bandwidth on it, and wpa2/aes encryption.
However I can only connect with speed 58-130Mbps, never higher. I have tried connecting with Windows' internal software and intel PROset wireless. The results are the same.
The network card is Intel Wifi link 5100 AGN, so I guess it should support higher speeds. The driver version is 184.108.40.206 dated 31.5.2010. I'm running 64bit Windows 7 Enterprise edition. The wireless router is less than 5meters away and signal stays excellent all the time (5 bars).
Is anyone else having a similar problem? Or even better, solved one? Cheers!
