Scrolling on touchpad in Windows 7 - problem

2009-12-08, 9:21 AM

Hi!

my WIndows 7 update finally came to me and Ive got one simple problem - all the drivers are working, but I cant find any driver to fix my touchpad - there is no scrolling function (by moving my finger up and down on the right side of the touchpad)

Is there any solution for this ? I didnt find any driver for this kind of problem and its quite annoying.

Thank you for any feedback!

Oh, btw Im running Lenovo SL500 with Win 7 Prof.

Works fine here... just use the Synaptics Ultranav driver from the Lenovo driver page for SL500 :)

Buy a real computer (i.e. Thinkpad)! :P JK... I'd assume there's a touchpad driver you haven't installed. Also, there's a section in the Synaptics control panel where you can activate or disable the scrolling - maybe it's deactivated for some reason? Or the scroll area is too narrow and it's not detecting your finger properly...
