Strange hotkeys collision.

Hi.

I have problem with volume buttons and brightness hotkeys. When I press them, the OCD with right percentage shows up, but I can't change it.

I installed Lenovo Power Manager, Lenovo Toolkit, Hotkey Features Integration...

Please help!

Re: Strange hotkeys collision.

Does it happen with a fresh boot or only with certain programs?

VLC and MPC-HC all intercept media keystrokes for their own use when the programs are focused.

Re: Strange hotkeys collision.

Right after boot...

Maybe that Lenovo's Power Manager is blocking it, as it treats backlight settings somehow. But it shouldn't be blocking sound, on the other hand...

EDIT: BTW: The mute button works great. Oh, and when I try to adjust the brightness, it does change it for like half a second and then goes back as it was... Smiley Sad

Re: Strange hotkeys collision.

Hi. I found out, that when I kill process 'On-screen display message generator for Thinkpad' (TPOSDSVC.exe) I can adjust the brightness with Fn keys. Without OSD, of course.

No luck with volume though...
