It has been a long time and we still haven't heard anything from Lenovo on this problem. I recently reloaded the operating system and tried system restore before loading any software onto the computer. I got the same error message. Anyone at Lenovo want to finally deal with this? Lew

A few months ago a put in a larger hardrive and played around with sytem restore again. This time when I tried using it from the safe mode it worked. I don't know why it didn't when I did this with the old drive, but wanted y'all to know. Mark was right. Lew
PS, I don't see the "problem solved" option.
