From time to time two error messages appear in the event viewer:
Event ID 13 (TPM): The device driver for the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) encountered a non-recoverable error in the TPM hardware, which prevents TPM services (such as data encryption) from being used. For further help, please contact the computer manufacturer.
Event ID 516 (TBS): An error occurred while communicating with the TPM. The driver returned 0x8007045d.
Event ID 16392 (TBS): An error occurred while starting the TBS. The error code was 0x8028000c.
Sometimes it happens during resume from standby, other times at boot.
Running Vista x64 on an R61.

Hoi, a Dutchman. Hoe gaat het met je? I spent some months there this year.
Anyway, I am concerned over this error. If it's a hardware fault, I would like to send it back.

It's a small world; I hope you had a good time in this small country.
About the errors: I just found this article on Microsoft's support pages. It seems to be a non-critical software issue. Nevertheless, since Microsoft advices a BIOS update, it might be something for Lenovo to look into (I'm on the latest BIOS for my T61).
