The life of the OEM battery in a Lenovo SL400c

Given:

  • In 2011, I purchase a Lenovo SL400c laptop used in a business setting since 2009 that still had the OEM battery, and
  • I used my Lenovo SL400c laptop for approximately 24 hours per week for MS Office type work and ran Recycle weekly, defrag monthly, and AdvancedSystem Care quarterly, more or less.

Assuming the business man purchased the laptop in January, when should I expect the battery to no longer hold a reasonable charge?

I am look for a seat-of-your-pants, ballpark, WAG.

Thanks!

One ignorant newbie

Re: The life of the OEM battery in a Lenovo SL400c

DOS is an operating system I used from 1981-1982 to 1997, Where I modified prorgams like Visicalc and HP plotting program becasue I found the limitations on parameters too constrictive, in which intregrate modules of Rapidfile to operate like SAP developed 1-2 years after my work with Rapidfile, and that I used to design a program for simulating the operation of a munitions incineratin plant and a chemical processing plant.

PS... I think I was one of the last three people to switch to Windows.
