Hey Guys I have been having problems with the wireless internet on my Lenovo ThinkPad R500 ever since I Purchased it from August 2009. As a college student I really need a dependable laptop that will have excellent wireless internet but the R500 have proven to be a nightmare. From the day I recieved it the wireless on this laptop has been extremely faulty, always bad WiFi signal or disconnecting on me. I have tried upgrading to the recent Intel WiFi link 5300 but it has failed me....and it is not the connection from the internet router because all of my other friends can use it with no problem. I really do not know what to do can anyone help???? please

what OS are you running?
Have you set the wireless card to run with maximum power output, minimum roaming aggressiveness and no power saving feature under property page?

I just did everything you told me but it doesnt fix the problem. I am able to connect to the wireless but it tells me Access: limited connectivity
