not yet , nobody heard of this problem before , i called lenovo and they told me that its problem from the keyboard and im sure its not , they put some random people at technical support who dont know how to solve a problem .
for now , the only solution is not to use the mute button hh .

I've called to Lenovo too and I was told it might be Motherboard problem... Not sure about that... Just to clarify the situation. Are you running win 7 or 10?

Since it's a physical button on the keyboard the idea that it could be a keyboard problem is not so far stretched in my opinion.
And it would be an easy repair since swapping a new KB is rather easy and affordable. If it's a motherboard problem then a mobo swap will cost more.
To rule out a software issue I would try to boot from a Linux Distro out of a CD/DVD or USB drive.

I Reset my laptop so I can have the audio drivers before the update , when I got my laptop it ran win 7 and I upgraded it to win 10 from Lenovo which installed so many new drivers.
I hope it's driver problem and not motherboard . I'll call Lenovo today to see if they have other solutions and I'll inform you if they have something new !!

Hey, I'll try to call them too. I'm running windows 7 so it does not look like driver problem as both versions of win have the same problem. What makes me wonder is the fact that it freezes only sometimes, it tend to freeze when te laptop is under load. Not every time i press the mute button.
I'll let you know if they find any solution
