I set a supervisor/boot password in BIOS and it was accepted perfectly. When the system rebooted, I key in the same password when prompted for boot password. However, the system denied my password.
Password used: "abc123#1"
The special character was accepted during password setting.
How to solve it and avoid the same thing happens again?
In order to log into the system, you can omit the special character when typing the password. For example, type only "abc1231". It is because the special character was actually not accepted but asterisk * still showed up during password setting.
